Comments/Description
The EU move 2 project contributes to solutions in overcoming obstacles to mobility of students, individuals and workers.
There will be set up a network around an existing portal with services to facilitate and improve mobility in a quantitative and qualitative way. For students and workers this will result in higher employability and improvement of personal and professional skills. For training centres this means setting up more flexible, individual based learning pathways and collaboration with other training centres and companies at EU level.
The project EU Move 2 is a sequel to the earlier project EU Move. EU Move 2 aims the development and deployment of the practical side of the web portal. A network of partners from the countries will be set up. The partner in each country will deliver high quality training companies to ensure a high quality web portal. This is a direct positive impact on the quality and quantity of international work placement.

Mobilizing Opportunities for Vocational Education with Innovative Technology
Hyperlink

Comments/Description
The MOVE IT Project (Mobilising Opportunities in Vocational Education with Innovative Technologies) will adapt and transfer an innovative, effective work based delivery methodology incorporating e-learning and mobile technology for 16-24 year olds learning in the workplace.
In a climate of increased employer and government demand for workbased training, offset by reduced funding and training budgets, providers need to adopt an efficient blended learning model of delivery that combines quality of provision with cost effectiveness whilst meeting the needs of learners and employers. The quality of learning material and learner support is important for learners working remotely as they do not see their tutor regularly or have the support of their peers as they would if they were attending college. A system of support between learners and between the learner and the tutor is needed as well as stimulating learning materials to maintain learner engagement and motivation.

    PreMo – Prepara la mobilità

Comments/Description
The transnational mobility of workers is expected to become the key issue of the European labour policy in the next years.
Mobility should be a reality available for all European citizens, in order to support people’s employability. By 2020 an EU average of at least 6% of 18 – 34 year olds with initial VET qualification should have had an initial VET-related study or training period abroad lasting a minimum of two weeks.
The PreMo project intends to support all those regional and local administration that want prepare themselves to this major challenge, by defining adequate models and tools able to support preparatory activities addressing young people willing to carry out mobility.

Solutions

General

Evidence shows that those responsible for planning and organizing learning mobility tend to be relatively isolated, often rely on their personal contacts, lack of a solid background of information on methodologies, tools and good practices already available. Europemobility Network aims at overcoming these barriers and promoting cooperation and synergies among different players sharing methodologies, tools and good practices to a wide audience, primarily in the VET sector, and thus contribute to boost quality and quantity of work placements abroad in Europe.

Particular

The activities undertaken within the Thematic Commissions, together with the International Conferences and publications, given their focus on establishing participation and involvement from key stakeholders in European different countries will secure a strong European added value and impact. the joint awareness raising campaigns promoted by Europemobility Network will secure a strong European added value, thanks to the extensive network of partners and the stakeholders contributing to the success of various initiatives such as, for example, Quality Labels for Students and Companies and European Video Contest.
