- The INVet Project aims at developing a toolkit to be available at an online training and resource center, including networking features, targeting iVET Managers, Trainers and Tutors/Counsellors (i) allowing them to develop skills to detect at an earlier stage trainees at risk of dropping out the VET system and to design and implement suitable strategies to deal with this phenomenon in their daily training sessions; (ii) enabling them to prevent the increase of earlier leavers rates and reduce the current rates by designing and implementing “action plans” aimed at generating more attractiveness of the iVET offers at their institutions.

- C2CC (Connection to Care and Career) aims to reduce early school leaving by means of implement ing a regional model for intensive co-operation between educational organisations and other organisations such as youth care and social welfare. We aim to transfer the Finnish Guaranteed Training Model. This model is based on multi-vocational guidance and support, flexible co-operation in working life, support to educational responsibility as well as enhancing the students’ life management and increasing their experiences from working life.
Transferring the model to Groningen and integrate parts of it into the systems of Germany and Lithuania could be the first step on to a European Training Guarantee model. But the greatest benefit is that youngsters will be guided in a clear and effective way and that the amount of dropouts will be reduced

- The SUPREME project addresses student drop-out issues in VET institutes by setting up a mentoring programme and ensuring intensive and continuous cooperation between VETs and SMEs.
The project has an innovative approach to drop-out prevention in VETs. It adopts a direct, practical mentoring approach based on the innovative award winning MentorProgramma Friesland (MPF: www.mentorprogrammafriesland.nl) and adapts/optimises this program with best practise from all partner countries to meet EU needs.
Aim of SUPREME is to develop the talents of young people and to support them in their career, studies and/or private life, in order to prevent student dropouts in VET. The project will set up pilot sessions with VETs and SMEs in the seven partner countries.
