- A traineeship abroad offers young people the opportunity to acquire professional competences and develop skills crucial for their labour market integration. But for many of Europe’s young people and small and medium companies, this type of mobility is still not a realistic opportunity. Only a small group reaps the benefits of these mobilities and some groups, such as young people at risk are particularly under-represented. The overall aim of the ‘Mobility Coach’ project is to motivate these young people to participate in a learning mobility as well as to support companies with hosting them as trainees. The project partners will develop training modules for the training instructors of a company so that they will be able to integrate the incoming trainees optimally into the work process of the company. After the end of the project period, the training modules will be made available for all interested companies and vocational schools in the form of a digital guide.

- The objective of the project is to offer students the opportunity to do their traineeship – which is a part of their studies – in an international enterprise in order to improve their intercultural competence and their language skills. The co-operation in multicultural teams becomes more and more a part of "normal" work routine in national as well as in international companies. That is why acting successfully in an intercultural work environment seems to become one of the key competences in the global labour market.
In order to provide the students with optimal preparation before and support during the traineeship workshops on intercultural communication will be offered. During their stay they will be provided with e-learning tools for discussion and support.

- The project’s objective is to offer students the opportunity to do their mandatory internships in international companies and organizations. As a result, they enhance their education and their qualifications in the field of intercultural competence and languages. The co-operation in multicultural teams becomes more and more usual in domestic and international companies, so it becomes more and more relevant for graduates. The ability to interact in a multicultural environment will be a key qualification for the global labour market.
The participants in the project TIME are about 95 students of FH JOANNEUM University of Applied Sciences, the department of International Relations as administrator, lecturers as home-based traineeship tutors and companies/organizations from the following countries: Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Spain, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Malta, The Netherlands, Slovenia and United Kingdom.
