    Give Competence a Chance addressed the issue of socio-economic integration of migrant groups, and improvement of women conditions in the LM. GC-AC adapted and experimented the method already tested with migrant women combining counseling, active competence analysis and development, practical support to the insertion in the labour market. The innovation element consists in the integration of a dynamic competencies analysis within a counselling process, conduced both in presence and in distance.

    The project WORK ABROAD lasted 21 months and included two target groups.
    Two weeks mobility to Portsmouth, UK included 10 unemployed persons up to 29 years old from Osijek-Baranja County who finished high school or have university degree, with no or maximum up to one year of work experience in their professions in the fields of hospitality, tourism, agriculture, food and graphic industries and economic sector. Given that no work experience or lack of it makes it difficult for unemployed persons to find employment, the project contributed to the development of professional and personal knowledge, skills and competencies of unemployed persons to become more competitive in the Croatian and European labour market.
    Two weeks mobility to Krakow, Poland enabled 4 employees of the Croatian Employment Service Regional Office Osijek, Department for project implementation, to gain new and additional professional knowledge and skills, increase their capacities for project management and take over the examples of good practice in order to be more successful in preparation and implementation of projects funded by the EU structural funds (beneficiaries of projects are CES parties – unemployed persons) and thus contribute to higher absorption of funds.
